March 29-09 Fish 003.jpg (101054 bytes) 1st place & Big Bass:  J.D. Kenslow and son Jamie put a whip'in on both the bass and the other anglers.  Four fish 16 lbs 1.5 oz which included Big Bass of the day at 8 lbs 0.5 oz. March 29-09 Fish 004.jpg (112161 bytes) Second Place: Keith Leftridge and Tom Alsop caught the only limit of the day 14 lbs 14.5 oz.  Their anchor fish weighed 5 lbs 14.5 oz.
March 29-09 Fish 006.jpg (98320 bytes) Third Place: Mike and Jeff Bottorff managed four fish 12 lbs 12.5 oz March 29-09 Fish 005.jpg (74440 bytes) Fourth Place: Wes Willett and Jason Rissler snuck up on 3 nice fish 9 lbs 7.5 oz
March 29-09 Fish 007.jpg (80332 bytes) Fifth Place: Kyle Hendricks and partner Jim Kochanowski only found two fish but they both were nice. 8 lbs 5 oz March 29-09 Fish 002.jpg (123636 bytes) Second Big Bass: It a good thing dip nets do fall out of the sky or Rich Clark and partner Steve Messbarger might have lost this fish also .6 lbs 4 oz
March 29-09 Fish 001.jpg (97998 bytes) Close but no $$$$ Mike Vanek held first place and big bass with this 5 lb 13.5 oz fish.  Till the next boat weighed in.   Smithville Marine "Bonus Bucks"   Smithville Marine added an additional  $250 to Alsop and Leftridges winnings for a top 3 finish since they purchased their boat from them.

SundayTorunApril19 002.jpg (337731 bytes) First Place & Skeeter Real Money: Terry McDowell and Dave Peacock with a respectable bag of fish at 20 lbs 6 oz.  Their big fish weighed 7 lbs 4.5 oz which was only 5th big bass of the day.
SundayTorunApril19 007.jpg (389345 bytes) Second Place & Smithville Marine "Bonus Bucks": If you are only going to bring 3 fish to the scales Brian and Kim Murch caught 3 dandys.  17 lbs 1.5 oz with their big fish weighing 7 lbs 12 oz which was the 3rd big bass of the tournament.  These big bass specalist fish from a boat they purchased from Smithville Marine so Smithville kicks in an additional $250 "Bonus Bucks" to add to their winnings.
SundayTorunApril19 009.jpg (171928 bytes) Third Place and Second Big Bass: Team Todd Knnack and Ryan Bennett also thought the limit was 3 fish but what a nice 3 fish, 15 lbs 11 oz. and an 8 lb 3 oz anchor fish.   Thurs 4-23 005.jpg (208573 bytes) Fourth Place:  Scott Jones and Iven Anderes also received the 3 fish memo but caught 3 nice ones.  14 lbs 10.5 oz would be a great weight for five fish, but a 7 lb 9 oz kicker brings the weight up quick.
SundayTorunApril19 003.jpg (341467 bytes) Fifth Place: Bill Jones heard about all of the big fish biting and drove down from Nebraska to take home some money.  He and partner Greg Bahle also chose the 3 fish limit route.  14 lbs 10 oz with a little 6 lb 9 oz kicker. SundayTorunApril19 001.jpg (300144 bytes) Sixth Place:  Andy Bissett and Jerry Jones caught a limit of fish weighing 14 lbs 5 oz.  Their big fish weighed 4 lbs 14.5 oz.
SundayTorunApril19 014.jpg (188174 bytes) Seventh Place:  Scott Hand found the fish but couldn't find partner Bob Kitterman to help hold up their three fish which weighed 13 lbs 14 oz.  Their big fish weighed 5 lbs 15.5 oz. SundayTorunApril19 004.jpg (168424 bytes) Biggggg Bass:  Wes Willett managed to boat one of the largest fish weighed-in, in quite a while.   8 lbs 5.5 ozs  In a post tournament interview Wes told me the fish was caught on a hook.

sunday 14th Tourn 011.jpg (2154994 bytes) Second Place: Scott Odel and Tyler Shaw caught one of the three limits of fish, 12 lbs 12 oz, just 1.5 oz out of first place. sunday 14th Tourn 009.jpg (748015 bytes) Third Place: Wesley Myers and  Bryce Gum also caught a limit at 12 lbs 6.5 oz.

July 19th tournament photos

Sun July 19 Tourn 008.jpg (820238 bytes) First Place, Second Big Bass, Calcutta, Skeeter Real Money, and Smithville Marine "Bonus Bucks": Tom Alsop and Keith Leftridge struck the mother load of $$$ with five bass weighing 18 lbs 5 oz.  A 6 lb 1 oz bass that was just one ounce shy of big bass.  A $10 side bet yields $280, fish out of a  SKEETER boat and you collect $1,000 from SKEETER  "Real Money Incentive Program".  Purchase that boat from Smithville Marine and collect an additional $500 incentive money. When asked what they caught their fish on they replied "sharp hooks".
Sun July 19 Tourn 005.jpg (639454 bytes) Second Place: Bobby Whittaker and Tom Carlin thought they were destined for the winners circle but fell a little short with 5 fish 16 lbs. Sun July 19 Tourn 007.jpg (838422 bytes) Third Place: Steve Kelley and Rick Wilson with a nice limit of fish @ 13 lbs 12 oz.
Sun July 19 Tourn 006.jpg (312101 bytes) Fourth Place: Clint Turner and Andrew Austin show off one of their fish in a 4 fish bag weighing in at 12 lbs 14.5 oz.  A five pound kicker fish doesn't hurt your total wt. Sun July 19 Tourn 012.jpg (400886 bytes) Fifth Place and Big Bass: Team lucky Jason Rissler and Wes Willet only found 4 keepers but a 6 lb 1.5 oz big bass (one half oz bigger than Tom & Lefty's fish) really bumps up the wt. 12 lbs 2.5 oz. total.
Sun July 19 Tourn 003.jpg (630924 bytes) Sixth Place: Sterling Scott and Dave Biscari were on the 4 fish limit pattern also but with a 5 lb 8.5 oz kicker and total wt of 11 lbs 10 oz got a paycheck. Sun July 19 Tourn 011.jpg (623516 bytes) Seventh Place: Mike Vanek and Tim Mazur caught their limit of fish @ 10 lbs 14..5 oz
Sun July 19 Tourn 004.jpg (560819 bytes) First out of the Money: John Combs (who is looking for sponsors) almost made the paycheck line with 5 fish 10 lbs 10 oz that he and brother Jeff caught. Sun July 19 Tourn 001.jpg (534542 bytes) Jeff Saunders with his 3 keepers that he caught all by himself.

aug weekend 007.jpg (694993 bytes) Third Place:  Kyle Alsop bailed dad, Tom, out by catching most of their 5 fish limit weighing 11 lbs 11.5 oz. aug weekend 003.jpg (606901 bytes) Fourth Place:  Ryan Bennett and partner Todd Knaack went for the four fish bag @ 10 lb 9.5 oz.
