2012 FISH-OFF RESULTS
Smithville Marine "Bonus Bucks" program pays cash and merchandise to fisherman who fish out of a boat purchased from Smithville Marine after Jan. 1, 2007. Win a weekend tournament and get $500. If the winning boat is not a qualifying boat a top 3 finish will get you $250. Win a Thursday evening tournament and get $100. If the winning boat is not a qualifying boat a top 3 finish will get you $50.

|Day 1: Todd Knaack and Nick Hahlbeck came to the scales on day one with the heaviest bag of fish @ 18 lbs 13.5 oz and Big Bass for day one @ 7 lbs 11 oz.||Day 2: These guys didn't let a tough day of fishing stop them from catching one of only two limits on day two. 13 lbs of fish the largest of which weighed 4 lbs 0.5 oz.|
|Tournament Champions and Smithville Marine "Bonus Bucks": A two day total weight of 31 lbs 13.5 oz for Todd and Nick was just enough to win the year end tournament of champions. Not only did they take first place in the tournament they also had the Big Bass of the first day and for the entire tournament. In addition to their first place tournament winnings they will also receive $1,000 from the Smithville Marine "BONUS BUCKS" program. To be eligible for the money they had to fish out of a boat they purchased from Smithville Marine no later than January 1, 2007. Congratulations to Todd and Nick on being the Burton's tournament champions.|
|Day 1: Russell Fisher and Jason Fulton with a day one limit of fish @ 17 lbs 7 oz. Their big fish in that bag weighed 5 lbs 10 oz and did not make the top five big bass of the day.||Day 2 Second Place: Russell and Jason with the second of only two limits of fish caught on day two. 12 lbs 5 oz for five fish brought their two day total up to 29 lbs 12 oz and a second place finish.|
|Third Place and Day 1 Second Big Bass: Tom Dunkin and Doug Goode with a five fish day 1 limit of 18 lbs 3 oz with a 6 lb 6 oz kicker good for second big of the day. Three fish on day two weighing 9 lbs 2 oz brought their eight fish two day total to 27 lbs 5 oz and a third place finish.||Fourth Place and Day 2 Big Bass: Brad Schmidt and Kevin Spencer had a day 1 weight of 9 lbs 12 oz for three fish. Day 2 yielded only three fish @ 13 lbs 14 oz and one of them weighed 7 lbs 8.5 oz and was Big Bass on day 2. Their 6 fish two day total weight was a whoppin 23 lbs 10 oz.|
|Day 1: Rick Snyder and daughter Jessica with their day one four fish bag @ 9 lbs 1 oz.||Fifth Place and Day 2 Second Big Bass: Jessica spent two very cold days showing dad how to catch cold weather fish. Three fish on day two @ 9 lbs 7.5 oz with a 4 lb 8 oz second big for day two.|
|Sixth Place: Jin Nugyen and Jerry McVey with a day 1 four fish @ 12 lbs 1 oz. Day 2 was tougher for the weekend points champions as they brought in two fish @ 6 lbs for a two day total of 18 lbs 1 oz.||Seventh Place: Kim and Brian Murch with their four fish @ 11 lbs 1.5 oz on day 1 but were only able to add 6 lbs 0.5 oz to their total on day 2. A two day total for 6 fish weighing 17 lbs 2 oz.|
|Eighth Place & Third Big Bass tie Day 1: Bruce and Darryl started off great with a 5 lb 14 oz big bass on day 1 which tied for third big on day 1. Four fish on day 1 @ 11 lbs 11.5 oz and a two day total for six fish of 16 lbs 10.5 oz.||Ninth Place: I had to help Dave Letourneau hold up his four fish on day 1 because Butch Lansing was tired from reeling in all of the fish. 11 lbs 6.5 oz and two day total of six fish @ 16 lbs 4 oz.|
|Tenth Place: Iven is always happy when Rich catches fish. Day 1 three fish @ 10 lbs 7.5 oz with a 5 lb 1 oz kicker that didn't quite make the big bass cut. A two day total of 5 fish @ 15 lbs 10.5 oz.||Eleventh Place and Third Big Bass Day 2: Lloyd Christopher and Ted Triggs had a four fish bag @ 8 lbs 11.5 oz on day 1. Day 2 was a little tougher as they caught only two fish but one of them was a 4 lb 2 oz third big fish for day 2. Their two day total weight for six fish was 15 lbs 7 oz.|
|Twelfth Place: David and Tyler Shaw had a day 1 four fish 9 lb 10.5 oz bag of fish. They followed up with a day 2 two fish bag @ 5 lbs 4 oz. A two day six fish total of 14 lbs 14.5 oz.||Thirteenth Place: Bob Kitterman and Andy Bissett had a five fish limit on day 1 that weighed 11 lbs 15 oz. Day 2 was not as nice to them though. Only one fish @ 2 lbs 10 oz and a two day total of 14 lbs 9 oz.|
|Fourteenth Place: Dave and Grant Schuster caught four fish on day 1 weighing 10 lbs 10.5 oz. Like most people fishing day 2 they found the bite to be a little slower. One fish @ 2 lbs 12 oz and a two day total of 13 lbs 6.5 oz.||Third Big Bass tie day 1: Mark Malone who looks like he just crossed over from the dark side with a beautiful 5 lb 14 oz bass. Their day 1 bag of three fish weighed 9 lbs 11 oz. They were only able to add a single fish weighing 2 lbs 13.5 oz to their two day total.|
|Third Big Bass tie day 1: Denny Shaefer with the 5 lb 14 oz bass that he and Wayne Berry caught on day 1. Their day 1 weight was 7 lbs 13 oz. Day 2 produced only two fsih @ 4 lbs 1.5 oz. Their two day total for four fish was 11 lbs 14.5 oz.||Todd Eggers of Shoreline Fiberglass presented Bobby Carlton and Tracy Platz with a check for $500 for being in 21st place after day 1 and the first team not to make the cut for day two.|
|The few anglers who did not catch a fish on day 1 were put into a hat and lucky angler drawn would receive a free detail for their boat from Shoreline Fiberglass. Todd Eggers presented Kyle Coleman with a certificate good for a free boat detail.|
