Stockton tourn. 4-1-12 011.JPG (60180 bytes) Third Place:  Danny Shinneman and Tom Shewey with their limit of better than average Stockton bass weighing 13 lbs 0.5 oz. Stockton tourn. 4-1-12 004.JPG (60033 bytes) Fourth Place:  Jim McKowen needed help holding up he and partner David Allens limit of fish.  12 lbs 9 oz and a fourth place finish.
Stockton tourn. 4-1-12 013.JPG (65133 bytes) Fifth Place tie:  Jim Sloan and Jeff Stout with their limit of fish @ 12 lbs 1.5 ozs was good enough for a last place money tie.    DSCN0093.JPG (58107 bytes) Fifth Place Tie:  Matt Messbarger continues to carry the weight for team Messbarger.   Five fish @ 12 lbs 1.5 oz that he allowed father Steve to net for him.

Stockton tourn. 4-1-12 008.JPG (52074 bytes) Justin Schmidt started the fishing season off well with two nice keepers @ 4 lbs 11 oz.   If dad would have helped him it might have been a pay day.  Good job! Stockton tourn. 4-1-12 016.JPG (64988 bytes) Todd Knaack and Nick Hahlbeck were one of the teams just out of the money.   A limit of fish @ 11 lbs 7.5 oz was a respectable bag of fish and a good day of fishing.

010.JPG (46831 bytes) First Place and Second Big Bass:  Jim Sloan and Jeff Stout caught about the same five fish as they caught in the previous tournament but with different results.  Five fish @ 12 lbs 14 oz was good enough for a first place finish.  A 5 lb big bass didn't hurt their cause either. May 20th sunday.JPG (48547 bytes) Second Place:  Dave Letourneau and Roger Kruep with five fish @ 11 lbs 6.5 oz.  Same place as last tournament but with a slightly lighter weight.  What a difference a few weeks makes.
009.JPG (43040 bytes) Third Place:  Bill Robertson and Jimmy Ziegler managed a limit @ 10 lbs 6 oz. NO PHOTO Fourth Place:  Bobby Carlton and Tracy Platz almost managed a limit.  Four fish @ 10 lbs 2.5 oz and a pay day.
008.JPG (41607 bytes) Fifth Place and Big Bass:  Todd Knaack and Nick Hahlbeck just keep on catching fish.   Three @ 8 lbs 13 oz was good for last place money.    A 5 lb big bass of the tournament was a nice addition to their bag.  Third Big Bass:   Wes and Troy didn't think a 3 lbs 13.5 oz fish was worthy of a picture but it turns out it was and a little money also.
Fourth Big Bass:  Dave Biscari returns to the tournament world after a short medical leave.   I had to call him at home and tell him he had won some money with he and Sterlings monster 3 lb 13 oz bass.

Thurs June 28 & 2 day tournments 029.JPG (45124 bytes) First Place, day 1 calcutta, Smithville Marine $Bonus Bucks$:  Bob Kitterman and Andy Bissett managed a limit of fish both days and edged out second place by just over a pound.    Eight bass weighing 22 lbs 7.5 ozs with their big fish weighing 4 lbs 14 ozs on day one.   Fishing out of a new Ranger boat purchased from Smithville Marine Bob will receive an additional $500 from Smithville Marine in their $Bonus Bucks$ incentive program.
Thurs June 28 & 2 day tournments 025.JPG (42572 bytes) Second Place and Big Bass:  Jeff Stout and Jim Sloan had to battled the fish and bad luck but still came up with big bass of the tournament @ 6 lb 8 oz and a two day total of six fish @ 21 lbs 5.5 oz.  Livewell problems and a spun hub may have cost these guys some fish. NO PHOTO Third Place and Third Big Bass:  Kerry Moore and Danny LaBoube put together two solid days of fishing with seven fish @ 19 lbs 2 oz.   A 5 lb 10 oz fish on day one helped anchor their bag and get them a third big bass check.
Thurs June 28 & 2 day tournments 035.JPG (52282 bytes) Fourth Place:  Jerry McVey and Jin Nguyen are always somewhere near the winners circle.   Seven fish @ 18 lbs 15.5 oz was good enough for fourth. NO PHOTO Fifth Place:  Jamie Kenslow and Kendal Scheel are a little camera shy but know how to catch fish.  Seven fish @ 18 lbs 3.5 oz.
Thurs June 28 & 2 day tournments 012.JPG (42867 bytes) Sixth Place:  Burton and Wilson can catch fish but not big ones like some of the other teams.   Eight fish @ 17 lbs 10.5 oz and last place money.   Thurs June 28 & 2 day tournments 021.JPG (49748 bytes) Second Big Bass:   Gary Miller and Tom Carlin landed a 5 lb 14.5 oz lunker on day one for second big of the tournament.  Their two day total was five fish @ 15 lbs 10.5 oz.
Thurs June 28 & 2 day tournments 033.JPG (49096 bytes) Fourth Big Bass:  Dave and Butch landed the only fish to make the top four big bass places for Truman Lake.   4 lbs 14.5 oz  and last place big bass money. Thurs June 28 & 2 day tournments 020.JPG (36818 bytes) Bill and Ed had a great day at the Lake of the Ozarks with four fish @ 10 lbs 10 oz but a slow day two on Truman.
Thurs June 28 & 2 day tournments 023.JPG (39278 bytes) Kevin Spencer and Brad Schmitt also had a good day one with four fish @ 11 lbs 2 oz but could only manage two fish on Truman for a total weight of 16 lbs 14.5 oz. Thurs June 28 & 2 day tournments 014.JPG (42706 bytes) Beetle and Harry were on fire on day one with four fish weighing 12 lbs 7 oz but couldn't add to that on day two Truman.  I believe that Truman turned out to be the tougher lake of the two.

Sunday August 19 004.JPG (43744 bytes) First Place, Third Big Bass & Smithville Marine $Bonus Bucks$:  Jr. Shinn and Mark Riegel show up and put a whoppin on the home boys.  A five fish limit weighing 17 lbs 13.5 oz was nice.   A 6 lb 7 oz third big bass of the day put an exclamation point on their bag of fish.    Sunday August 19 005.JPG (49194 bytes) Second Place & Big Bass: Steve Kelley and Wes Meyers brought in five @ 16 lbs 2.5 oz with a 6 lb 14 oz big fish of the day as an anchor.   Maybe taking time off from fishing the lake can benefit your catching?
Sunday August 19 002.JPG (44932 bytes) Third Place:  Gary Martin and Troy Ladehoff with just five nice fish @ 15 lbs 7 oz. Fourth Place:  Brad Schmidt and Kevin Spencer with their five fish bag @ 15 lbs 3 oz.

Sunday August 19 007.JPG (40536 bytes) Fourth Big Bass: Jeff Stout and Jim Sloan brought in the smallest fish to receive money.   Fourth big bass of the day @ 5 lbs 10.5 oz.    Sunday August 19 001.JPG (42077 bytes) I don't know what came over that bass in my right hand but I was just able to stop it before it bass slapped Butch across the lips.   He and Dave had a nice limit of fish weighing 11 lbs 4 oz which wasn't quite enough to make the cut.
Sunday August 19 006.JPG (47029 bytes) Second Big Bass:  Phil Latier and Jeff Grego (Mr. mom) with the number two bass of the day.   6 lbs 8 oz of pure mean green bass. Sunday August 19 003.JPG (46039 bytes) First Losers or first out of the money how ever you want to say it.  Terry McDowell and Dave Peacock with five nice fish weighing 13 lbs  3 oz.   Who knows what they could do if they spent more time fishing and less time working on the boat.

Weekend-Last Sept2012 003.JPG (45454 bytes) Second Place and Fourth Big Bass:  Five fish @ 18 lbs 2.5 oz with a 5 lb 13.5 oz fourth big bass of the day.  How can you be disappointed  with an 18 lb bag even if it is only second place.  Tom and Keith showed up big as always.
Weekend-Last Sept2012 008.JPG (47272 bytes) Third Place:  Joe Dorcy and Dene White with there little five fish limit @ 16 lbs 15 oz.    Weekend-Last Sept2012 001.JPG (40863 bytes) Fourth Place:  Jason and Russell and a limit @ 16 lbs 13 oz.   Only fourth????
Weekend-Last Sept2012 009.JPG (40714 bytes) Fifth Place:  Wes Willett and Troy Knox  could only manage 16 lbs  9.5 oz.   Five solid keepers looked great especially with a 5 lb 10.5 oz kicker in the bag.   Not today though! Weekend-Last Sept2012 005.JPG (41913 bytes) Sixth Place & Big Bass:  Chris Self has been on fire these last few weeks.  Fishing alone he brought in a limit @ 16 lbs  2.5 oz and the big fish of the day @ 6 lbs 14.5 oz.  Since he didn't have to split the money with anyone it was sorta like winning double.
Weekend-Last Sept2012 004.JPG (43795 bytes) First Place out & Second Big Bass:  Kevin and Brad with 15 lbs 6 oz which was first place out of the money unless your big fish weighs   6 lbs 11 oz and is second big of the tournament. Weekend-Last Sept2012 007.JPG (42125 bytes) Seventh Place:  A beautiful limit if Smithville bass weighing 15 lbs 1 oz is usually a sure thing, not today though.  A $25 gift certificate from the NEW Carnivore Store (spices, rubs, and BBQ equipment) next to the bait store.
