First Sunday.jpg (18300 bytes) First Place and Fourth Big Bass:  I had to fill in for camera shy Dave McCormick and help Bryce Reider hold up the winning four fish.   16 lbs 2 oz  with a 6 lb 2 oz fourth big bass of the tournament.   April 14 Sundays- rotate.jpg (23909 bytes) Second Place:  Dave Biscari and Sterling Scott showed up after taking some time off last year and found that their fish were still where they left them.  A five fish limit that weighed 15 lbs 7 oz.   Their big fish weighed 5 lbs 1 oz.
Third Place:  David Shaw and Chris Stroud managed a limit of fish with some last minute heroics by David (back to back 5 lb fish at 2:30).   15 lbs 0.5 oz with a 5 lb 3 oz big fish.  Thought we were going to have to sedate Chris at the weigh-in he was so excited.  Sunday 14th.jpg (20630 bytes) Fourth Place:  Tom Shewey and Danny Shinneman had the next limit of fish @ 14 lbs 15 oz.  There big fish weighed 5 lbs 3.5 oz.

sunday 14th April.jpg (21497 bytes) Third Big Bass:  Casimer Zybko and Jeff Reed only caught two fish but one of them weighed 6 lbs 11 oz and was third big of the tournament.

005.JPG (51244 bytes) First Place, Big Bass, & Smithville Marine  $Bonus Bucks$ Tom Alsop and son Kyle walked away with the whole enchilada.   Kyle who fishes for the K-State bass fishing team took dad to school.  Although Tom won't admit it I think Kyle helped out more than he was letting on. The results were impressive though five fish @ 17.21 lbs and the big bass of the tournament @ 6.29 lbs.   Tom purchased his boat from Smithville Marine which made him eligible for their "BONUS BUCKS" incentive program.   $500 incentive from Smithville Marine, first place, big bass, and calcutta.   That adds up to almost a semester of tuition for Kyle.

Two Day Tournament: Lake of the Ozarks June 22nd and Truman Lake June 23rd

Thursday June 20 and 2 Day Weekend 010.JPG (47982 bytes) First Place, Big Bass and Smithville Marine "Bonus Bucks":   Rod Webb and Dale Miller (who didn't want his picture taken with Rod after fishing with him for two days???)  caught a two day total weight of 28.50 lbs and had a day one big bass of 6.24 lbs to win the whole thing.   They needed their day one weight at Lake of  the Ozarks of 18.80 lbs with a 6.24 lb big fish to hang on for the win as Truman lake proved to be much tougher as they could catch only a small limit that weighed only 9.70 lbs.  Turned out they didn't need any more though which made them both happy.   First place money, Big Bass money, day one calcutta,.       Rod had purchased his STRATOS 201 EVOLUTION from  Smithville Marine which qualified him for their "BONUS BUCKSprogram and an additional $500.
Thursday June 20 and 2 Day Weekend 014.JPG (60640 bytes)
Thursday June 20 and 2 Day Weekend 015.JPG (327319 bytes) Second Place: Rich Clark and Randy Swaggerty had a great day one on Lake of the Ozarks bringing in a nice limit of fish @ 18.02 lbs and a 5.31 lb big fish for their kicker.  Their day two trip at Truman Lake fell just one fish short of the win.   Four fish @ 9.66 lbs and a total two day weight of 27.68 lbs fell less than a pound short of the win.  The Swagg forgot to catch the last fish.
Thursday June 20 and 2 Day Weekend 012.JPG (43050 bytes) Thursday June 20 and 2 Day Weekend 019.JPG (52151 bytes) Third Place:  Nick Hahlbeck and Todd Knaack had a very consistant tournament with a five fish limit at Lake of the Ozarks @ 15.82 lbs  and a limit @ 11.76 lbs on Truman Lake.   A two day total of 27.58 just one tenth of a pound behind second place.
Thursday June 20 and 2 Day Weekend 018.JPG (56367 bytes) Fourth Place & Second Big Bass: Joe Dorcy and Mark Riegel struggled a bit at Lake of the Ozarks with a four fish bag weighing only 9.65 lbs.  Truman was a different story though, five fish @ 17.60 lbs which was big bag of the day and an awsome bag for Truman bringing their two day total to 27.25 lbs.   Their 5.84 lb anchor fish turned out to be the second big of the tournament. To handsome for a photo Fifth Place:  The Harry and Jerry show came to play.   Mr. Carr and Bailey were very consistent with a day one weight of 13.3 lbs for five fish and a day two weight of 12.64 lbs for five fish.   Their two day total of 26.37 lbs was a great showing.
Thursday June 20 and 2 Day Weekend 017.JPG (55571 bytes) Sixth Place:  Tom Alsop and Keith Leftridge had their usual limit of fish on the Ozarks weighing in @ 9.96 lbs and added a day two limit @ 14.39 lbs on Truman for a two day total of 24.35 lbs and the last place paycheck. Thursday June 20 and 2 Day Weekend 011.JPG (43000 bytes) Third big Bass:  Cas and Jeff managed only three fish on the Ozarks but one of them weighed 5.75 lbs and was good for a third big bass of the tournament.  Their two day total for five fish was 13.40 lbs.
Fourth Big Bass:  Jimmy Ziegler and Bill Robertson got the last of the big bass money with a 5.57 lb fish they caught at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Sunday Aug 18 005.JPG (65128 bytes) Second Place and third Big Bass:  Bobby and Cody caught a limit of fish @ 16.74 lbs and a second place finish.   They also had a nice 5.32 lb third big bass of the tournament.
Sunday Aug 18 001.JPG (53465 bytes) Third Place:  Jim and Jeff caught a limit of fish @14.16 lbs.  Their big fish was a 3.90 lb fish which didn't quite make the big bass pay line. Sunday Aug 18 004.JPG (74473 bytes) Fourth Place:  Kim and Brian found some fish on Thursday and had a bit of trouble getting them in the boat.   They solved that problem on Sunday by catching a limit weighing 13.49 lbs.   Their big fish was a 4.02 lb bass which is exactly what their big fish weighed on Thursday night.   ??????
Sunday Aug 18 003.JPG (56467 bytes) Fifth Place:  Todd and Nick brought in their usual limit of fish weighing 13.17 lbs.  The difference was the lack of a really big fish.   4.35 lbs was their biggest fish still a nice one though. Sunday Aug 18 007.JPG (63355 bytes) Sixth Place:  Joe Dorcy and Mark Riegel got the last money in the pay line.   A limit of fish weighing in at 12.82 lbs was good enough.
Sunday Aug 18 002.JPG (57470 bytes) Second Big Bass:  Bob and Andy not to be confused with Andy and Randy only caught two fish but one of them was a dandy.   5.83 lbs is a nice summer fish.   Fourth Big Bass:  Stuart and A.J. took the last money in the big bass category 4.85 lbs.
