Gary-Rick 2014.jpg (141317 bytes) First Place and Smithville Marine Bonus Bucks:  Rick Wilson and Gary Burton had a limit of fish weighing about 13 lbs until they stopped on a main lake point on the way to weigh-in and caught a 6.15 fifth big bass.  A total weight of 17.52 lbs was just enough for the win. stockton 2nd place.jpg (53170 bytes) Second Place and Second Big Bass:  Robert Swearngin and Carl Cox had a 7.42 lb second big bass of the tournament in their bag of five fish weighing 17.19 lbs.
stocton 3rd pl.jpg (56065 bytes) Third Place:  Steve Stroud and Dave Peacock with a limit of fish weighing 16.30 lbs.   They had a 5.51 lbs big fish which was a requirement for getting in the pay line. IMG_0659.jpg (64000 bytes) Fourth Place and Third Big Bass:  Ted Triggs and Ron Durrill caught a 7.25 lb third big bass of the tournament bringing their total weight to 16.15 lbs.
stockton b bass.jpg (63938 bytes) Fifth Place and Big Bass:  Rich Clark and his 8.29 lb big bass of the tournament.   Rich had an eight pound plus big bass the last time we were in Stockton also.   I need to get him to teach me how to do that.   Five fish at 15.75 lbs good enough for fifth place. IMG_0653.jpg (63775 bytes) Sixth Place:  Kim and Brian Murch with a nice limit of fish weighing 15.68 lbs.   The big fish in their bag weighed 5.77 lbs which was the needed ingredient for a paycheck.
stockton 4th big.jpg (55053 bytes) Fourth Big Bass:  Keith Leftridge with a 6.70 lb fourth big bass of the tournament and her baby brother.   Two fish at 8.91 lbs was a little shy for a paycheck.  stocton 1st out.jpg (56072 bytes) First Place out of the money:  Dean and Scott had a great day of fishing with a limit weighing 15.24 lbs.  Their big fish weighed only 5.29 lbs which wasn't quit enough to make the paycheck line.

2nd Scott Bargman & Danny Shinneman 5 19.78 lbs
3rd Butch Lansing & Dave Letourneau 5 19.15 lbs
4th Aaron Olsen & Larry Murphy 5 17.89 lbs
5th Bob Kitterman & Andy Bissett 5 17.41 lbs

Big Bass
1st Bob Kitterman & Andy Bissett 7.76 lbs
2nd Bill Robertson & Jimmy Ziegler 7.17 lbs
3rd Tony Lansing & Lee Tripp 7.15 lbs
4th Harry Carr & Beetle Bailey 7.09 lbs

004.JPG (60165 bytes) First Place & Fourth Big Bass:  Harry Carr and Beetle Bailey not only caught a limit of fish but they also caught the heaviest five fish.  20.07  lbs with a 7.09 lb fourth big bass of the tournament was an awesome stringer on stormy day.   009.JPG (71175 bytes) Second Place:   Scott Bargman and Danny Shinneman had Harry and Beetle worried when we dumped their fish.   A 6.77 lb fifth big bass of the tournament wasn't quit enough to top Harry and Beetle.   19.78 lbs for their limit was good enough only for second.
002.JPG (57927 bytes) Third Place:  Layton had to fill in for Butch Lansing and help Dave Letourneau with their five fish limit weighing 19.15 lbs.  Their big fish was only a 5.10 lb fish which wasn't really a big fish that day.   006.JPG (60270 bytes) Fourth Place:  Aaron Olsen and Larry Murphy showed up with a nice limit of fish weighing 17.89 lbs.   Their big fish was a miniscule 5.07 lbs.
007.JPG (68432 bytes) Fifth Place & Big Bass:  Andy Bissett and Bob Kitterman caught four pitiful little bank runners and then came BIG BERTHA.    A 7.76 lb big bass of the tournament brought their total five fish weight to 17.41 lbs and last place pay check.  008.JPG (62273 bytes) Second Big Bass:  Bill Robertson and Jimmy Ziegler only caught three fish for 13.77 lbs.   Their big fish accounted  for over half of that weight.   7.17 lbs and second big of the tournament.   I wonder if a David Ryan Black Market Bait was involved in any of their catching?
010.JPG (56353 bytes) Third Big Bass:  Lee Tripp and Tony Lansing couldn't quite finish that five fish limit.  Four fish @ 16.48 lbs and first out of the money would have been more disappointing if they hadn't had a 7.15 lb third big bass of the torunament.

Sunday April 26 and Thurs 23 004.JPG (56586 bytes) First Place and Smithville Marine $Bonus Bucks$ and RANGER CUP MONEY:  Bob Kitterman and Andy Bissett topped the field with five solid keepers @ 18.99 lbs.   Their big fish was a respectable 5.99 lbs.   A $500 bonus from Smithville Marine along with the calcutta made the rainy day not so bad. Sunday Aug 24 016.JPG (68693 bytes) Bob Kitterman fishing from his new Ranger 520 C purchased from Smithville Marine had an awesome day of fishing.   Bob had registered his boat for Ranger Cup Money and cashed in on a $250 reward from Ranger.  A $500 reward from Smithville Marine not to mention taking first place money in the tournament.
Sunday April 26 and Thurs 23 010.JPG (67960 bytes) Second Place:  Jeff and Jim were so close with five fish @ 18.90 lbs.  Their big fish was only a 4.80 lb which was the difference. Sunday April 26 and Thurs 23 007.JPG (63350 bytes) Third Place:  Stuart Allen and A.J. Richard caught a limit that weighed 17.44 lbs.  Their big fish weighed 5.12 lbs which was nice but not even in consideration for big bass honors.
Sunday April 26 and Thurs 23 014.JPG (60441 bytes) Fourth Place: Todd Knaack & Nick Hahlbeck with their limit of fish weighing 17.35 lbs.   Five solid keepers on a windy rainy day.   Sunday April 26 and Thurs 23 012.JPG (62052 bytes) Fifth Place and Third Big Bass:  Tom and Keith got the correct anchor fish  @ 6.67 lbs but the other four failed to live up to expectations.   A total weight of  15.27 lbs  and last place money.
Sunday April 26 and Thurs 23 006.JPG (61581 bytes) First Big Bass:  Matt and Steve Messbarger had the big bass of the tournament @ 7.09 lbs.   Their four fish total wt. was 14.99 lbs.   That illusive fifth fish could have really helped their payday.

??????

Second Big Bass:  Not sure where Jim and Kendell's picture went but they had a really nice 7.00 lb bass for second big.   If your only going to catch one that is a good one to catch.
Sunday April 26 and Thurs 23 015.JPG (71855 bytes) Fourth Big Bass:  Joe and Jin only caught three fish but their 6.11 oz anchor fish was the fourth big of he tournament.  Their three fish total weight was 12.99 lbs.

008.JPG (90101 bytes) Fifth Place and Second Big Bass:  Jim Sloan strut'in his big bass.   A 6.63 lb fish was good enough for second big of the day and a four fish total weight of 12.72 lbs and fifth place. 005.JPG (65965 bytes) Sixth Place and Smithville Marine $Bonus Bucks$:  Kendell Sheel and Jim McKowen caught five little fellers weighing 11.45 lbs and got last place money.   But wait theres more.   Jim bought a new RANGER from Smithville Marine this year so wins another  $100  Smithville Marine $Bonus Bucks$.

2 Day Tourn 009.JPG (66821 bytes) First Place, Smithville Marine Bonus Bucks, Calcutta, and Fourth Big Bass:  After day one on the ozarks things were less than encouraging for Tom and Keith.   Four fish at 8.85 lbs and almost 10 lbs behind the leaders Tom and Keith needed a big day on stingy Truman Lake.   No problem, a five fish limit weighing 16.20 lbs for a two day total of 25.05 lbs and a two pound margin over second place.   Fishing from a boat purchased from Smithville Marine the boys will receive an additional $500 from their Bonus Bucks program.   A 4.72 lb fourth big bass of the tournament and the day two calcutta side bet resulted in a profitable tournament.
2 day (2).JPG (70503 bytes)
2 Day Tourn 003.JPG (97295 bytes) Second Place and Third Big Bass:  Ed Matthews and Bill Hall had a spectacular day 1 on the ozarks.  18.65 lbs with a 5.39 lb second big of the day which was third big of the  two day event.   Day 2 on Truman was a little tougher, two fish @ 4.55 lbs for a two day total of 23.20 lbs and a second place finish.  2 Day Tourn 001.JPG (56310 bytes) Third Place:  Beetle Bailey and Harry Carr were in second place on day 1 with a 16.96 lbs.   Day two on Truman Lake was more of a challenge to the guys.  Two fish on day weighing 5.81 lbs was a little short of expectations.  22.77 lbs for a two day total and a third place finish.
2 Day Tourn 004.JPG (77219 bytes) Fourth Place:  Nick Hahlbeck needed my help to show off his five fish limit @ 11.67 lbs.  while Todd Knaack planed a strategy for day two.   Three fish at 7.31 lbs on Truman brought their two day total to 18.98 lbs.  2 Day Tourn 007.JPG (69663 bytes) Fifth Place and Big Bass:  Dave Peacock and Steve Stroud finished day 1 with 14.13 lbs  and a 5.97 big bass of the day and of the tournament.   A day 2 weight of 4.39 lbs  for two fish and a two day total of 18.52 lbs kept them in the money.
2 Day Tourn 010.JPG (94862 bytes) Sixth Place:  Day 1 was 4 fish @ 9.20 lbs and seventh place on the Ozarks.   Day 2 produced 3 fish @ 7.38 lbs and the fishing circus moved up one place to sixth.  A two day total weight of 16.58 lbs.    2 Day Tourn 008.JPG (69181 bytes) Seventh Place:  Bob Kitterman and Andy Bissett had a fair day 1 with a limit of fish weighing 10.20 lbs.  They were in the hunt.  Truman lake was not friendly though and they only managed 2 fish @ 5.17 lbs. for a two day total of 15.37 lbs.
2 day.JPG (82030 bytes) Second Big Bass:  Travis Day specializes in catching big fish and managed a 5.53 lb Truman Lake second big bass of the tournament.  He and Tim Stouts two day total weight was 8.45 lbs.    2 Day Tourn 002.JPG (64759 bytes) Bill Robertson and Jimmy Ziegler had a day 1 four fish bag weighing 10.94 lbs but stubbed their toes on Truman Lake managing only one fish for a two day total of 13.39 lbs and a tenth place finish.

Sunday Aug 24 007.JPG (72742 bytes) First Place and Biggggg Bass:  Wayne Pace and Roger Frazee brought in the monster bag of the year. (so far) A five fish limit weighing 21.52 lbs and being anchored by a 8.42 lb MONSTER big bass of the tournament.   What an awesome big bass for a hot August day.     Sunday Aug 24 008.JPG (67182 bytes) Second Place and Smithville Marine $Bonus Bucks$:  Bob and Andy with a beautiful summer time limit of fish.   18.36 lbs would usually win most summer time tournaments but not today.  Five quality fish with their largest being 5.80 lbs was only good enough for a second place finish.  Fishing out of his new Ranger 520 C purchased form Smithville Marine added an additional $250 to he and Andys winnings from their $Bonus Bucks$ program.
Sunday Aug 24 012.JPG (76620 bytes) Third Place and Fourth Big Bass:  I don't have to ask how many fish are in your bag when these guys come to the scales because its always five.  Keith and Tom had a 16.04 lbs bag and  a 5.85 lb fourth big bass of the tournament.   IMG_0095.JPG (66453 bytes) Fourth Place:  Joe and Jin brought a limit of fish to the scale with a story about the big fish (which got away) hanging around trot lines.  13.98 lbs is still a very respectable bag of fish and good enough for a fourth place check.
Fifth Place:  Troy Caldwell and Mike Spence with five at 13.85 lbs and a paycheck.     Sixth Place:  Last place money was a four fish bag brought in by Jim and Jeff weighing 13.06 lbs.   A 5.52 lb big fish in their bag made the difference.
Second Big Bass:  Big Bass Bernie Gram strikes again.   He and partner Brian Davidson had only two fish on the day but one of them weighed 7.01 lbs and was second big of the tournament.  Their total weight for two fish was 9.74 lbs and was the first place bag out of the money.   Third Big Bass:  Bill Jones and Greg Bahle made the trip down from the Omaha Ne. area just to catch a 6.80 lb third big bass of the tournament.   I'm sure they expected some of her friends to show up to keep her company but it just didn't happen.  Another beautiful fish on a very hot summer day.

Last Sunday Tourn 2014 012.JPG (93305 bytes) First Place, Second Big Bass and Calcutta:  Jin Nguyen and Joe Dorcy brought in a monster bag of fish with a monster kicker fish.   A Five fish limit weighing 20.14 lbs with an 8.02 lb second big of the day.   Another fish in their bag was well over 5 lbs making for a beautiful bag of fish. Last Sunday Tourn 2014 013.JPG (90661 bytes) Second Biggg Bass:  Joe with his 8.02 lb second big bass of the tournament.   An 8 lb fish that is only second big of the tournament thats just not right.
Last Sunday Tourn 2014 008.JPG (71081 bytes) Second Place:  Mike Spence and Troy Caldwell with five really nice fish at only 17 lbs.   When was the last time 17 lbs was just an ok weight. Last Sunday Tourn 2014 001.JPG (70506 bytes) Third Place, Fourth Big Bass and Smithville Marine Bonus Bucks:   A nice limit of fish weighing 16.94 lbs with a little 5.52 lb fourth big bass of the tournament.  Bob's new RANGER was purchased from Smithville Marine which qualified him for an additional $250 $Bonus Bucks$.
Last Sunday Tourn 2014 014.JPG (72936 bytes) Fourth Place:  Dave Letourneau and Marshall Brown with a limit weighing 16.35 lbs.   Last Sunday Tourn 2014 004.JPG (67995 bytes) Fifth Place:  Matt Messbarger needed some help holding up his five fish limit because his dad was busy loading up the fish from the tournament to relocate them out of the weigh area.   15.46 lbs is often a winning weight at Smithville.  Not today!!
Last Sunday Tourn 2014 005.JPG (63437 bytes) Sixth Place:  Steve Stroud and Dave Peacock thought they had a winning bag of fish.  A great five fish limit @ 14.76 lbs and the last place paycheck.   Last Sunday Tourn 2014 009.JPG (78360 bytes) BIGGGGG BASS:   Jeff Stout and Jim Sloan caught the biggest bass weighed-in, in any tournament this year (at Smithville) 8.56 lbs.   Their two fish total weight of 12.62 lbs for only two fish is pretty nice.  I think they might have caught more fish if they had not spent the rest of the day watching their big one swim around the livewell.
Last Sunday Tourn 2014 011.JPG (93927 bytes) Third Big Bass:  Keith and Tom had only two fish @ 8.05 lbs but their big one weighed 6.40 lbs which was only the third big of the tournament.  What an encouraging disappointment.   Last Sunday Tourn 2014 003.JPG (68379 bytes) First Place out of the $$$$$:  Scott and Tom caught a nice limit of fish @ 13.19 lbs which was a nice bag of fish but it didn't put any beer in the fridge.
